Featherstone recently completed the multi-phased, 42,000 sf, interior office upgrade ahead of schedule and under budget.
The renovation will be used to attract and retain talent at Ball Horticultural Company’s global headquarters. The design was focused on the penetration of natural light, soothing colors, and an open work environment to increase collaboration among departments while creating an enjoyable and productive work environment. Ergonomically designed workstations and private offices with sit-to-stand desks were utilized to promote employee health, along with a variety of conference and collaboration spaces to also support various types of meetings.
Environmental branding was incorporated throughout the space to showcase Ball Horticultural Company’s rich family history. The color palette for the space was inspired by the various floral seeds that Ball offers with rich hues of red, violet, coral, yellow, and green that interject energy into an otherwise texturally neutral canvas backdrop. The modern design is both warm and residential to appeal to Ball Horticultural Company’s employees and visitors. Construction occurred in four phases to accommodate the continuing operation of the business.
